Rob Burrough - Principal, Linwood College since 2000. Passionate about school improvement and maximising opportunities for all students. Believes in schools being a light house to their community.

Alan Parris - HOD Mathematics, Director of the LANE project, President NZ Association of Mathematics Teachers. Taught at Linwood for the last 35 years and heads the team that runs the LANE project.

Judy Hutchison - Teacher in charge of Literacy at Linwood College. Judy initially looked at the international research into literacy and is responsible for the training and support of Toe by Toe tutors within and outside the school.

Sue Robinson - Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour at Linwood College.  Sue introduced the Toe by Toe programme to Linwood.

Terry Elliot - One of the first tutors of Toe by Toe, Terry has worked with many of the adult and young adult students attached to Linwood College.

Jenny Bradley, Karen Chadderton, Debbie Erickson, Meredith Henderson, Richard Taylor and Jacqui Walsh are all teacher aides at Linwood College and have been involved in tutoring students and gathering data for the Lane project over the last two years.

Julie Alce - Trained as a teacher in NZ and taught functional literacy to young adults in English schools. Julie is the Toe by Toe tutor at the YMCA educational branch.

Waveney Warth - Is the Toe by Toe tutor at Te Ora Hou.  She has worked with disadvantaged young people at Kimihia and through the Caroline Reid Foundation.
